Some of the A.D.D. crew celebrating Collins life with some disc golf and beers. It seams like the only thing that makes these tough times ok is having a beer and talking with the friends we still have.

small dog

It has been so sad dealing with the loss of Colin B and it is really weird our boy Jason Small died on the same day 2 years ago in Alaska. Is this the balance that comes with shredding everyday? Is the moral of the story to work safely in a cubical in Denver? I don't think so. The moral is we all die but we don't all live to our potential. We can take comfort in knowing that these guys had already lived more full lives than most people could imagine. This winter do you think these guys would want you to hide safe and sound in the suburbs or get out into the mountains and get after it? I know exactly what they would say, GO BIG!

R.I.P. Collin Backowski

Collin Backowski another brother in shred gone. One of the most positive and fun kids I have had the pleasure to shred with, and be friends with. Always smiling and looking to get into something fun. He died doing what he loved maybe the most. It's hard to say he loved to shred the most because he was always having so much fun surfing, skating, partying, yoga, traveling, and anything he put his mind to. Anyone who knew Colin is going to miss him so much.
